I plan on going to this show and I hope that a bunch of us can go down there and represent. I'll bring our banner and a tent so we can promote our show (i.e. pass out flyers and post announcements during the show) to the North Carolina VW crowd. The more we promote the show the more we can help the Arnette's raise some $$$ for their son. Here is a link to the exact location...should be between a 2.5 and 3 hour ride to the show.

Whoever wants to cruise down to the Big Bug Shootout:

I'm leaving at 5pm from the Hooter's parking lot on Route 10 and I-95 in Chester. I've got a room at the Quality Inn with an extra bed about 10 minutes from the show. Or you can camp at the show.

Yes, but I may be leaving a little later than 5pm. I'll let you know. Headlights work? Had a great trip up to Ranson this weekend. Passed out a ton of flyers and got a couple vendors to commit. Keep spreading the word about the show...pass out those flyers and invite everyone you can think of. The more we advertise the more will show up...and it all goes to benefit Cameron Arnette's charity!

whatever time should be fine with my dad and i, and yeah everything on the bug works. and let me get some of those flyers man! i'll pass them around.

A slight change of plans for my departure time on Saturday for the Big Bug Shootout. I can't leave until about 8pm. As a matter of fact, Saturday at 5pm is our cruise-in to Johnny Rockets at Winterpock and Hull St. We can leave from there around 8pm...so if you'd like to join me and caravan down then just show up at the cruise-in by 8pm.

Hope a few of our club members can make it down there...get those VWs on the road, where they belong! It's about 300 miles round trip...that's nothing for a well-tuned air-cooled German engine!
