Name's Roger and I've been into VW since my first one back in '83.

This is the last one I owned: 65 RHD on Earlies

sold it to get back into a type II

current ride: when I picked her up:

as she sits now: 1960 on Empi Raders with all the correct early stuff: seamed gates, clear speedo, hinge covers, etc




next on the list is safaris, pinstriping and tapping the back with the lowering stick some more

I miss seeing that fooker!

she needs safaris, hoops and a new set of shoes - something different. I'd like some Fumis, but the only two guys i know of with sets aren't selling & I need something OG, not repopped

got the safaris installed during the off-season, added some Frese mirrors and got the rear 'dialed' in with a 'new' transmission - time to cruise

was thinking about it but never got an answer about the clearance to get onto the ferry. I only have about 2" at the muffler (lowest point)

We had a couple of guys last year with low riders that had no issue at all with boarding the ferry i think you should load up the family and come along i don't think you would be dissapointed.We had a great time and a good crowd with 22 v.ws.,44 people at the rest. with the entire banquet room to ourselves

good thinking roger, i hope i can get my bus onboard without any steering box damage. i have just flipped spindles in the front. i'll be there tho
