Help!! Engine will not start!
Hello everyone,
I have a 67 dune buggy and I am still having issues getting it to start. I just installed a refurbed 28 pict carb and am still having to spray it to get the to start. It cranks fine and the fuel pump works. It would run on it's own for a few seconds although it was running very rough! I know the carb needs to be tuned but I can't keep the motor running long enough to do any tuning! Help!

not sure about the timing, 009 dizzy. It was running fine in the fall and one day the battery died while driving around the block. Got it home recharged the battery and have been having a problem ever since! I replaced the carb just because it was the og carb. So here i sit!! I do not know enough about vw motors or carbs for that matter to be able to to tune it. Any suggestions for a local shop??
