The Hoggard Family's Custom Camper
The history as I know it is the bus lived in Alaska and for most of it life in California before coming to Virginia. I have paperwork going back to 1974 on all the service work to the bus. I even have the OG owners manual. It is the most complete bus I have ever owned. It is a 1970 hardtop Westfalia. When I first saw it I though it was a rusty heap but after looking over it I realized it was in very good shape by east coast standards. Here are some pictures of work I have done to it. Warning: lots of pics.

Great work as always Jeremy.
This picture cracked me up. But on the flip side now you know that the bus is solid through and through after fixing everything.

beautiful!!
If you can squeeze a vanagon in that pic, you'd have the full bus lineage!
sometimes I miss my bus.....

There is a vanagon behind our bus in the background. Buses are fun for sure. At that particular campout there were over 150 of them.

Jeremy, I don't know why you bother to rebuild 'em. You're good enough to build 'em from scratch better than VW did.
