Yes camping the night before has been encouraged and a few of the guys do it each year . I have not done it yet as it seems like I am always getting back into town the night before the show . When the info flyer is published will have it fowarded to you guys . Tom

If anyone is interested in camping the night before the Bealeton show (VW Cruisers are sponsoring this show at the Flying Circus in Bealeton) there are a few of us heading up there on Saturday, June 5th to camp at the show site. Here is some info:

We had several members show up to the VW Cruisers show in Bealeton today...and all who drove a car took home some hardware:

Robert Gotay's Squareback took 1st in the Type 3 class and Blue Totoro took 1st in the Stock Bug pre-67 class!

New member Russel Bailey got a trophy in the stock bug 68 and newer!

Bill's 64 Single Cab got 2nd in the Type 2 Truck category and Chuck's 66 Westy took home 1st in the A/C Camper group:

Jim Garza's 65 vert got 1st in the Convertible Class!

That guy with the split is cool! I talked to him down at Winterjam. He usually brings it out to the bug outs....

Yeah, he is a cool guy...and he has collected a massive amount of vintage German auto badges...he showed them off at the show in Bealeton. Sadly, he wasn't parting with any of them Mad

Nice split...he even had these window screens on the rear windows that reflected sunlight so that the interior could be preserved. I literally spent 45 minutes looking over the car...very nice!
