Club future.

O.K. everyone i know it's been a while since you have heard from me,and i'm sorry it's taken me this long to comm. to you.I've been trying to decide the best way to comm. to all of you concerning how you all should recieve info.,and i've decided to do this via our fourm and not indv. e-mails.If you want to find out what is happening with the club i thought it best to access the fourum since this was what it was set up for.Any and everything concerning the club will be posted there in the future.I hope all of you will look to our site and continue to participate and be active and supportive.

This isn't a bad idea, but I still think a weekly email blast is a good way to keep everyone informed. One thing I did was simply email the group and copy and paste that same email into the forum. It took an extra minute of my time, but I wanted to do all I could to inform everyone of what was coming up so we could get maximum participation. Not everyone checks their emails and the forum...

Sending out a weekly email is a very simple task. I have the list of all the email addresses and I built a contact list named "VW" in my yahoo account and added new members when someone wanted to join. To avoid the dreaded "reply all" I emailed myself and "BCC" (blind carbon copied) the group. If anyone wants the list and would be willing to take over the weekly email blast just let me know and I can send the list via an excel spreadsheet attachment!

I would be available to help with the email lists. I think having an email to remind folks of
up coming events is a great extra to help with participation. Brian, I would depend on you
to show me the ropes....ok?
Joseph and I will be at J. Rockets on Saturday...hopefully we can discuss some of these
kind of things and perhaps plan a fun fall outing.
