Well, most know the car. It's been garage status since I got it. I hope to have it drivable soon. I got it as a roller and it was missing quite a bit of bits and pieces. Here are a few pics of the progress:

Looking good, perfect stance. The dash on splits is killer. I need to stop looking at VW sites.. makes me want to get something else to work on, when I haven't finished my current project......... and school...... and house... and and and.

I hear ya. My next project will be either a notch (if I can find one cheap) or a volksrod. The volksrod will have a chop top, extended front, slammed, either OD green or flat red with some white walls.. you know the drill. I really like the looks of them, and well... besides the chop (which I think would be fun as hell) no fenders, nose or rearend.... less work. Very Happy Sorry bout the thread jack. lol!

getting ready to help a buddy start on his Volks-Rod here soon...chop top, oval rear clip, extended front, slammed, semaphores, rag top clip, the whole nine yards.
